This link above will direct you to a site by The Daily Meal that has posted what they claim are the top 25 restaurants in America. We will battle the world some other time. For right now, California holds its fair share along with New York City, Chicago and a few other well established areas in the country that have set the bar amongst the most elite of dining experiences.
I could only imagine in my wildest of dreams being able to sit down at one of these tables. Melisse (#11), congrats to Josiah Citrin. This restaurant is a fifteen minute walk from my office and I never knew that it ranked amongst the best in the country. Pretty stoked for them.
So the next time you're in one of these cities and you want to know where the finest establishments, rarest wines, distinguished ingredients, knowledgeable staff, profound chefs and sleekest atmospheres are, just refer to this little guide. Reservations are most likely hard to come by so book in advance!
